The implementation of the project "Early interventions - support for children in early development" is underway

The Association of Psychologists Novi Pazar started the implementation of the project "Early interventions - support for children in early development". The project represents a system of services for families and children of the earliest age who have developmental deviations, disabilities or difficulties. The goals of the project are: • improvement of psychophysical development and daily functioning of children up to 6 years of age; • developing parental competencies for working with children with developmental disabilities through counseling services; • promotion of inclusive practice through the establishment of intersectoral cooperation with institutions in the local community. The project contributes to monitoring children's development, recognizing and identifying possible developmental deviations, as well as providing support to parents in order to encourage development. In this way, timely further diagnostics and suitable early intervention are enabled, in the period when it gives the best effects. The purpose of early treatment is to prevent deeper and more complex disorders later in life. The value of the project is 14,970 euros. This project is funded by the European Union, under the Iris network.
