Training for child’s personal assistant

During the month of July 2016. Association of Psychologists Novi Pazar organized education for Child’s personal assistant, conducted by Society for cerebral and child paralysis from Ivanjice. Therefore, professionals from Ivanjice visited Novi Pazar and, together with professors from Special Education and Rehabilitation Faculty conducted a three-day education and thoroughly explained to the future service providers their obligations and assignments through practical and interactive work. It’s important to note that this program is accredited at Republic institute for social protection. The purpose of engaging personal assistant is providing child with adequate individual practical support with the goal of inclusion in regular schooling and community activities, as well as establishing higher level of independence. Fifteen future personal assistance have successfully finished the training in during of three days for service of child’s personal assistance, who were give information and education about various possible situations and problems they might encounter during work, as well as viable solutions for those.
