THE CLUB FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

The Club for Children and Youth is an advisory and educational social care service, established with the aim of providing more organized protection and improving the position of children and youth with behavioral problems. The Club supports its members by seeking to prevent the development of certain problems, improving individual competencies, enhancing social and lifestyle skills to address problems, and developling their social functioning through various activities. The purpose of the treatment program is to minimize and ultimately eliminate the consequences of harmful circumstances and achieve positive changes in behavior and relationships by engaging members in a structured work program. The main activities and programs offered by the Club are in the form of group work as a means of social learning alongside individual work in accordance with specific needs, and they include the following: - COUNSELING focused on specific difficulties, especially regarding overcoming loss and building positive self-acceptance, stress management, anger management, and adopting strategies to overcome problems, establishing positive emotional relations, and constructive relationships with peers and others. - EDUCATION/INSTRUCTIONS focused on overcoming difficulties in problem solving, interpersonal skill development of pro-social behavior and self-control, development of responsible behavior and moral reasoning, assertive training, general and specific knowledge, the satisfaction of different cognitive needs of users, and more. - EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT focused on acquiring general competencies related to overcoming learning impediments and acquiring knowledge and skills required in preparation for work engagement. - RECREATIONAL AND CREATIVE ACTIVITIES DURING CONSTRUCTIVE FREE TIME with the aim of stimulating personal development, mental and physical health, self-actualization, and socialization based on the abilities of the members and the potential of the local community. - WORK WITH THE FAMILY OF CHILD/YOUNG ADULT with the aim of improving parental/guardian competencies.
